United Hebrew Brotherhood (UHB) is one of four separate Jewish cemeteries located on Penn Avenue S. and 70 1/2 Street block in Richfield, MN. Other adjacent cemeteries are Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery, Gemelus Chesed Cemetery and B’nai Emet Cemetery. Please note that UHB is located further to the west of Penn Avenue at Thomas Avenue, and not directly on Penn Ave. Commonly referred to as “the second cemetery” or “the second gate over from Penn”.

Saturday (Shabbat) and Jewish festival holidays- gates are closed
Jewish Festivals and Major Holidays (Passover, Shavuot, Sukkot, Shemeni Atzeret, Simchat Torah, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur. Gates are closed on both days of Yom Tov. Please check www.hebcal.com for current Jewish holiday dates.
Please exit prior to gate closing time or you may get locked in!
The cemetery office is not staffed throughout the business day to assist with questions or information. Please be advised that you should not expect to find someone on the grounds to help you if you simply show up. Also remember that the cemetery gates are closed on Sabbath and major Jewish holidays. The chapel building is locked, and rest rooms are unavailable unless there is a funeral service scheduled. Please contact a superintendent for assistance.
